Rosie O’Donnell In Custody Battle With Michelle Rounds

Rosie O’Donnell has found herself in an ugly custody battle with her soon-to-be ex-wife, Michelle Rounds. The couple got married in 2012 and shortly after adopted a newborn. Three years later Rosie filed for divorce stating, “an irretrievably broken relationship,” according to PEOPLE.

Rounds told Entertainment Tonight that she wants their 2-year-old daughter, Dakota, to have, “the best possible environment to grow up in, a normal life. Right now she’s got 24/7 nannies over there at Rosie’s house. I don’t want my child to have a 24/7 nanny.” Rounds also mentioned that O’Donnell does not discipline the child in any way.

Since Rounds has gone public with wanting full custody on Tuesday, the battle has gotten rather unpleasant according to The Los Angeles Times. Rounds has been accused of being a “gold digger,” while Rosie O’Donnell has been accused of having marijuana and alcohol as the reason for her lack of parenting abilities.

The pre-nuptial agreement that Rounds signed when the two got married were “extremely generous,” it simply stated that Rounds just shad to stay faithful according to Page Six. Rounds has made it very clear that she would walk away from the pre-nup if Rosie were to give her full custody. She has also maintained that she has never wanted O’Donnell’s money having made her first million before the age of 39, before she had met O’Donnell.
