Don’t Open Gifts at the Party.

There’s no better way to start a fight at a party than to have all the kids to watch your child open a bunch of new toys none of them are allowed to play with. The birthday child also may not want to keep on with the party schedule after opening their toys and depending on how young they are, this could cause quite a meltdown. Children are also pretty open about NOT liking gifts which can also turn into a hurtful event. Leave the gift opening after the guests have gone, and for a super fast and creative thank you, video tape the child reacting to the gift and have them say thank you in the video, then text the video.
