Finland Scores Highest on World Achievement Scores

 

It is shocking to me that Finland has some of the highest achievement scores after learning about their education practices.  Children go to school for short periods of time, have fewer academic classes, and more recess time than anywhere in the world.  Plus children do not start formal schooling until they are seven years old.
