New Royal Baby-Princess Charlotte Of Cambridge
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, introduced their second royal baby to the world Saturday, May 2, 2015. She came into the world weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces. According to The Los Angeles Times she will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
Her full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, as a tribute to her grandfather Prince Charles (Charlotte is the feminine of Charles), the late Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, Prince William loves to keep his mother’s spirit alive and even gave Kate Middleton Princess Diana’s engagement ring when he proposed to her.
Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced Princess Charlotte outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s hospital. The hospital is a long-standing tradition in the royal family where Princess Diana also gave birth to Prince William and Prince Harry, reported Hello! Magazine.
On Sunday a spokesman for Kensington Palace said, “The duke and duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world. It means a great deal to them that so many people have celebrated the arrival of their new daughter.”
