There’s just something about Bill Murray, right, folks? So much so that some parents even put their babies in onesies with the actor’s face on them. So, it comes with little surprise that we are seriously hyped to see the new The Jungle Book movie, now that we know Mr. Murray will play the part (via his voice) of Baloo the bear.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the hilarious 63-year-old actor will be joining Disney’s all-star lineup for the October 9, 2015 release of the latest updated classic, directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, About A Boy). Other characters include Christopher Walken as King Louie, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera the black panther, Lupita Nyong’o as Raksha the mother wolf, mama-to-be Scarlett Johansson as Kaa the python, Idris Elba as Shere Khan the tiger, and others.
If all of this sounds pretty exciting to you, too, we suggest you start getting your kids obsessed with the book now (if they’re not already), and set a mommy-and-me movie date for a year from now. We have a feeling this one is gonna be a hit with everyone.
