It’s fairly well-documented here on Our Best Bites that I do not sew. When I was in second grade, I started sewing lessons and the teacher told me that in all her years of teaching sewing, I was the only student she’d ever had that didn’t make it to actually sewing something on the first day. I’m terrible. I have a throw pillow on my couch that opened up when I tore off a tag and the thought of sewing it, a job that would probably be 5 minutes tops, just fills me with dread and inspires me to eat ice cream.

So.

When our friend Ashley at Make it and Love it told us she was writing a book of 50 crafts that don’t require sewing, I was 150% onboard.

And these aren’t lame-o Kate no-sew crafts, like hot glueing stuff onto popsicle stick picture frames or something, these are legtimately adorable. Pillows and tote bags and aprons and pacifier clips. You need to head over HERE to see some the adorable things this book has to offer.
